During the summer of 2014 a long window-frame of our house (with four big secondary window-panes and eight smaller primary window-panes) was replaced by a new one with HR++ glass. So we had an excess of glass, and, in addition, quite a lot surplusses of wood from other jobs. In early spring 2015, I built a greenhouse of these materials: 3 m long, 2.5 m wide and 2.5 m high in the middle. Somewhat later that spring, we gathered early shallots, salad, rocket and chervil, after that also celery, parsley and basil, and finally even cucumbers, tomatoes, and red and sweet peppers.
